H&M or Hennes & Mauritz AB is a Swedish multinational clothing retail company. H&M was founded on October 4, 1947 in Vasteras, Sweden. The headquarters of H&M is in Stockholm, Sweden. The first H&M logo was created in 1947 when the name of company was Hennes, this logo only had a wordmark of company in a bold handwritten typeface. In 1968 Hennes was merged with Mauritz Widforss and the logo was changed as well. This logo had a monogram 'H&M' between the two words Hennes and Mauritz. In 1968 a new logo was designed which was in red color. This logo had only two capitalized letters H & M in bold style.
