LG Logo History
LG is a South Korean multinational electronics company headquartered in Yeouido-dong, Seoul, South Korea. LG is short form of Lucky Goldstar, two different companies merged in one in 1983. The name 'Lucky-GoldStar' of new company was shortened to LG in 1995 and new logo was designed. This logo had a red circle and three white symbols drawn on it. These symbols are letter L, letter G and a white circle. The composition of symbols created an image similar to human face.
