onchange Event
The onchange Event is a DOM event which occurs when the value of an element is changed.
In this example when the file is selected, the value of input element is changed and it fires the change event which will execute our main function.
It is supported by all major browsers.
getElementById() Method
The getElementById() Method is used to get or select or target the HTML element with a specified value of Id attribute.
In this example the id of input element is 'out'. This id is used to target the input element.
It is also supported by all major browsers.
innerText Property
The innerText Property is used to set or get the text content of the html element.
In this example the innerText property is used to set the text content of paragraph element to display the message that file has been selected.
It is also supported by all major browsers.
