jQuery attr() Method
jQuery attr() Method sets or returns the attributes and values of the selected HTML element.
In this example attr() method will return the value of href which is URL of the link.
jQuery preventDefault() Method
jQuery preventDefault() Method stops the default action of targeted HTML element from happening.
In this example preventDefault() method is used to stop redirection towards the url. Because our goal is to get the link's url on the same page.
