Follow the steps given below to Fix Windows security not opening issue on your Windows 11 device.

Using Settings App

1. First open Settings app on your PC.
2. Now on the left-side click on Apps.
3. Then on right-side, click on Apps & features.
4. Scroll down to find Windows Security option, click on dotted icon and click Advanced option.
5. Now click on Repair button to repair Windows Security app.
6. Once repairing process is complete, click on Reset button to reset this app.
7. This should solve the problem, if not then proceed to follow the second method.

Using Windows Powershell

1. In this method, first open and run Powershell as an administrator.
2. Once Windows Powershell is opened, copy and paste this command and press Enter to run it.

   Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.SecHealthUI -AllUsers | Reset-AppxPackage

3. Once command has run properly, try to open the Windows Security app and it should work fine now.
4. If the problem persists, then follow the third method.

Using Windows Task Manager

1. First open the Task Manager on your windows 11 computer or laptop.
2. Now click on the services tab/icon on the left-side.
3. Now scroll down and find the security center service named wscsvc.
4. Right-click on this service and then click Restart.
5. That's it, this should resolve the problem and Windows Security app will now start opening on your windows 11 device.
