jQuery fadeIn() Method
jQuery fadeIn() Method is used to fade in the hidden HTML tags.
HTML Code
HTML Code is given below, in this code we have a image tag and a button tag. The click on a button tag will execute a function which will fade in the image.
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html lang="en">
<head>
<title>jQuery image Fade In</title>
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.6.0/jquery.min.js"></script>
<style>
.responsive
{
width: 100%;
display: none;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<img id="image" src="car.jpg" class="responsive">
<button id="btn">Fade In</button>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
JQuery Code
JQuery Code is given below.
$('#image') is an id selector used to select the img tag.
Then fadeIn() method will make the image visible again but with some time delay.
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#btn').click(function(){
$('#image').fadeIn();
});
});
</script>
We can also define three types of values inside the fadeIn() method, slow", "fast", or value of time day in milliseconds.
<script>
$(document).ready(function(){
$('#btn').click(function(){
$('#image').fadeIn(5000);
});
});
</script>
Above example will take 5 seconds until the image is completely visible.
